Easy Meat Lasagna

Assalamualaikum. Panas cuaca hari ni, semalam hujan sekejap sangat. Alhamdulillah bila panas, hikmahnya boleh minum air dengan banyak tanpa perlu ke tandas 5min sekali akibat terlebih air ke ape. Jadi badan pun rasa sihat. Seminggu ni apa saja yang ku makan melibatkan cili, 10min lepas tu mesti cirit birit. Walau aku makan kicap bercili saja pun cirit birit. Sebelum aku makan apa pun ok je, memang membuang waktu pagi tapi minggu ni saja cirit birit setiap hari, jadi cepatlah aku lapar.

Jam 6 pg cari makanan, jam 9 pg cari biskut, jam 12 tgri cari nasi, jam 3 ptg cari kuih, jam 6 sat lagi mest aku godek2 lagi dapur. Cepat saja barang dapur tu habis! Bila dah habis mulalah aku bersuara pada hubby 'Agak2 bila nak keluar lagi? Beras dah habis la'. Hubby jawab 'Aik, bukan baru beli minggu lepas ke?'..haha, serius aku pun tak pasti kenapa beras 10kg baru beli minggu lepas dah habis minggu ni, 2 mulut je pun yang makan. Sepatutnya minggu ni kena keluar bandar, tapi hubby busy dengan kerja (again!), so tangguh lagi.

Tengahari tadi aku menjamu lasagna. Resepinya aku ambil di belakang kotak San Remo Instant Lasagna tu. Aku taklah ikut betul2 resepi dia. Aku masukkan 1 batang cili besar masa masak sos daging tu. Carrot tu aku masukkan masa susun lasagna, tak masuk sekali dalam sos daging sebab tak mahu rasa kerangupan carrot tu hilang. Aku dapat 3 layers je sebab meat sauce tu aku buat sikit saja. Sedap juga, lagi2 bila makan dengan sos cili. Habis separuh ku makan. Separuh lagi tinggal untuk hubby petang nanti. Alhamdulillah atas rezeki dan nikmat Allah beri.

Easy Meat Lasagna

Ingredients (Meat Sauce):-
1 onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic - crushed - cincang
1 carrot, finely chopped - aku sagat
500g beef mince - ganti daging Burger Ramly
5 tbsp tomato paste - ganti Sos Prego
2x400g canned tomatoes - xletak
2 cups chicken stock - ganti serbuk pati ayam Knorr
Pinch of nutmeg 
2 tbsp oil

Ingredients (Cheese Sauce):-
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp plain flour
2 cups milk 

Ingredients:-
125g mozzarella/cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
250g San Remo Instant Lasagna



Meat Sauce:-
1. Hear oil in a saucepan. Add onion, carrot, garlic, cook until soft. 
2. Add beef mince, cook until brown.
3. Stir in tomato paste, canned tomatoes and chicken stock.
4. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Cover and cook gently 20 mins.

Cheese Sauce:
1. Melt butter in separate saucepan, stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes over gentle heat.
2. Remove from heat, stir in milk.
3. Return to heat, stir until thick and smooth.
4. Season with salt, pepper and add mozzarella/cheddar cheese, stirring over heat until cheese melts.  


Assembly:- 
1. Preheat oven to 180C. Pour 1/2 cup of the meat sauce into lightly greased baking dish.
2. Alternate layers of lasagna, meat and cheese sauces, ending with cheese sauce layer (allow for 4 layers)
3. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese, bake in oven for 35-40mins or until cooked through (test if cooked by pricking with fork).
4. Let stand 5 mins before serving

Hint: For perfect lasagna, make sure that lasagna sheets are completely covered with meat sauce. Important to retain a high level of moisture.
